YOO, Dong-myun: He worked for the independence movement through Han Gook Dong Lip Dang in Hawaii.
He worked for the Korean independence through Korean National Association. He worked hard to unite the divided groups into one. He was the vice-president of Korean National Association in 1935 and voluntarily provided financial assistance for the Provisional Government in Shanghai. His financial support spanned from 1937 through 1945. In 1997, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / Patriotic People Award for his financial support for the Korean independence movement.
