Park (Kang), Young-bok: She is a new Korean American independence patriot in 2015.
With her husband Kang, Young-moon, she ran a restaurant in Chicago and donated independence funds for Hung Sa Dahn and Korean National Association with her husband. Her older brother Park, Hee-do was one of 33 signatories of the March First Korean Independence Movement. Her younger brother Park, Hee-sung was the first Korean pilot in America. Park, Hee-do, Park, Young-bok and Park, Hee-sung all three siblings became Korean independence patriots in Korea and America. In 2014, the South Korean government posthumously recognized her with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / National Foundation Commendation for her contribution
toward the Korean independence movement.
