Lee, Sae-chang: He donated independence funds.
He offered the independence funds as president of Korean National Association in Matanzas, Cuba from 1912 through 1945. In 2011,the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / National Foundation Commendation for his contribution toward the Korean independence movement.
