Lee, Jong-o: He is a newly recognized Korean American independence patriot as of 2015.
Before immigrating to Mexico, he went to Japan to study and later taught at a school. He is from a royal family. He later joined Korean independence activities with the Korean National Association for the next 40 years of his life. In 2015, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / National Foundation Commendation for his contribution toward the Korean independence movement.
