Lee, Jae-hi: He donated independence funds as an officer of Korean
National Association in Cuba.
In 2011, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / Presidential Commendation for his contribution toward the Korean independence movement for supporting 1930 Student Uprising in Kwang-joo and teaching Korean language including funds from 1925 through 1945.
