Lee, Cho: He was trained to be a guerilla during WWII as a pilot.
He immigrated to America in 1915. He started a labor job in San Francisco and later enrolled at Redwood Aviation School in 1919. He was a pilot instructor at the school. He then joined Hung Sa Dahn in 1917. His membership number was 82. He was trained to be a guerilla under OSS in 1941 to infiltrate Korea under a Field Experiment Unit. He has been a consistent and faithful member of Korean National Association from 1916 through 1944 by donating independence funds. In 2014, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / Patriotism Award for his dedication for Korean independence movement.
