Kim, Bong-hak: He supported Korean independence movement as a member of Korean National Association in Mexico City.
In 2011, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / Presidential Commendation for his contribution toward the Korean independence movement and his efforts for Korean community there. He joined the Korean National Association of North America in June of 1910.
