Hahn, Kyung-sun: He worked as a military rank at the Greater Korean People’s Military Corps in Hawaii.
He came to Hawaii at age 21 as an immigrant soldier. He offered financial contribution for two publications of two Korean patriots Jeon, Myeong-woon and Ahn, Joong-kun respectively in 1909 and 1911. He served as a military rank called Chamwee at the Greater Korean People’s Military Corps in Hawaii. From 1937 through 1945, he contributed a total sum of $2,000 toward Korean independence funds. In 2004, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / Patriotic People Award for his contribution to the Korean independence movement.
