In 2012, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Presidential Commendation for his financial support for the Korean independence movement and by his active service at Korean National Association from 1919 through 1945. He served various assigned activities from Akron , Ohio to Dinuba, California serving as treasurer, supervisors and secretary general positions and financial supports from 1919 to 1945 continuously.
