Cha, Jin-joo: He donated Korean independence funds and participated in NAPKO operations.
In 2013, the South Korean government posthumously recognized him with the Order of Merit of National Foundation / National Foundation Commendation for his efforts to Korean independence movement. During 1940 through 1942, he was active in the Korean National Association. In 1944, he joined the United States Armed Forces to support the OSS Korean Field Experimental Unit in the NAPKO and he continuously supplied Korean independence funds from 1939 through 1945.
