Ahn, Jae-duk: He collected independence funds through Korean National Association in Hawaii.
He worked for the most part in Hawaii for the Korean National Association which was the representative independence organization for the Korean community by merging and uniting two organizations like Gong Nip Hyop Hoe and Hap Sung Hyup Hoe in 1910. Subsequent to the establishment of the Korean Provisional Government in Shanghai, he put all of his endeavors toward collecting independence funds. In 1998, the South Korean government posthumously recognized with the National Foundation Commendation for his endeavor for the Korean independence movement.
